Rockassist is a unique calculation program offered to you by ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation. It will give you all the options to calculate the ideal insulation thickness for technical installations – no matter whether you just want to make a quick initial estimate or you’re making a final decision on what the ideal insulation is, complete with an authoritative report on the results.

Rockassist offers the opportunity to fine tune the settings to your personal needs. The software and report can be displayed in the English or German language.

As a standard we selected our global ProRox assortment for thermal insulation of technical installations. But this can also be adapted to your local needs by selecting your country.

All calculations can be carried out in accordance with the European standard EN ISO 12241 or the German standard VDI 2055.

Rockassist now calculates, in addition to VDI 2055:2008, also on the basis of EN ISO 12241, version 2022. At the same time, the energy efficiency classes of VDI 4610 and the insulation thickness recommendation of DIN 4140 can also be displayed. In the area of CO2 emissions, certificate costs/tax can now also be taken into account.
